Sebo-Franz Krubally, Freiburg (Breisgau) Germany / January – March 2019

I had the privilege of articling (Wahlstation) for three months at Heskia-Hacmun Law Firm from January until March 2019. Adi Zalk was my supervising attorney.

During my time here, I was mainly involved in daily office affairs. My responsibilities included filling in for the administrative assistant in the afternoon as well as regularly going to the post and bank. Additionally, I also received various assignments from the attorneys. For instance, I assisted Partner Amos Hacmun with contracting an international joint venture. Furthermore, I regularly had to conduct research on client issues regarding German civil law for Adi Zalk. I also accompanied litigation partner Dor Heskia to mediation meetings. With sufficient preparation, I was able to follow the proceedings despite the language barriers. Interns and trainees also accompany attorneys to court hearings.

Anyone who chooses to article or intern at Heskia-Hacmun will find themselves in a very friendly office atmosphere. The doors of colleagues are always open. Moreover, interns and trainees are given plenty of freedom to discover this breathtaking country.

Adi Zalk is a very friendly, helpful and laid-back supervisor.
