Isabel Reinhardt, Muenster, Germany / August – October 2022

After finishing my studies, I worked as a research assistant at the internationally active law firm Heskia Hacmun from August to October 2022. This offered me the opportunity to bridge the waiting period for my legal clerkship and at the same time gain valuable work experience abroad.

The entire team is extremely open-minded, cordial and very eager to make the start in Tel Aviv as easy as possible. I felt in good hands and part of the team from the very beginning.

The focus of Heskia Hacmun’s activities and its client base are particularly diverse. On the one hand, I was able to follow the corporate transactions of a start-up in Dubai, and on the other hand, I dealt with an inheritance case involving relatives from Israel, Germany and the USA.

In addition to general legal research and drafting of legal opinions and pleadings in German and English, I participated in court hearings and client meetings and was entrusted with errands to ministries and banks.

During my stay in Israel, several Jewish holidays such as Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot took place. The Jewish New Year was elaborately planned and celebrated together with all colleagues, giving special insights into Jewish life.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all employees of Heskia Hacmun, from whom I was able to learn a lot and who contributed significantly to my unforgettable time in Israel.

I can only encourage everyone to apply!
