Tali Blumenfeld, Frankfurt, Germany / June – August 2022

I chose to spend my elective station during my legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt at the law firm Heskia-Hacmun – and I wouldn’t want to miss a second of my three months in Tel Aviv.

The entire team is very helpful, welcoming and very dedicated to making you feel comfortable and as part of the team right away.

Since Heskia-Hacmun also works in German and English and has many clients in Germany, the firm offered perfect opportunities for me to broaden my horizons.
During my time, I was therefore entrusted with a variety of interesting tasks.  In particular I assisted the attorneys with clients related to Germany and correspondence with German authorities, courts and attorneys. I was also entrusted with errands to the post office or bank. One of the best experiences was that I was allowed to accompany Dor to a mediation meeting. This mediation was exciting not only because of its exciting subject matter, but also because of the mediator, who was very famous in Israel.

Since the firm had a few other trainees and interns in training at the time of my visit I had the opportunity to work flexible hours.

In summary, I can say that it has been a great pleasure to work at Heskia-Hacmun and I am very grateful to have met so many great people there. Thank you to everyone in the office who contributed to my great time in Israel!
