My internship with Heskia Hacmun Law Firm was from June 2012 to July 2012. During that time I was a member of the young and inspiring international legal team of Heskia Hacmun. From the first day, I received a very warm welcome from everyone in the firm. The interns are fully incorporated in the daily work of the partners and associates.

My tasks included drafting legal opinions regarding the German civil and corporate law as well as international intellectual property law and arbitration proceedings, several translations of German and English memos, drafting summaries to legal publications and general assistance to the office staff. I also had the opportunity to attend several court hearings all over Israel. Furthermore I attended a reception of the Israeli bar association closing a friendship agreement with the Berlin bar association.

Everyone at Heskia Hacmun was of great help not only in regard to the legal work in the office, but also towards my general time in Israel. I was lucky to travel almost the whole country and experience not only its wonderful nature, but also the Israeli people and culture. Besides all the amazing places all over the country, the city of Tel Aviv and the Tel Avivis are the main attraction of Israel. I had the possibility to experience Tel Aviv with all its amazing people, cultural events, beaches, restaurants and clubs.

My time at Heskia Hacmun was for sure the best part of my whole studies. I am very grateful to everyone at the firm for offering this opportunity and can highly recommend an internship with Heskia Hacmun.
