I had the great opportunity to intern at Heskia Hacmun Law Firm in January and February 2019. Previously, I studied at the University of Haifa and wanted to extend my stay in Israel. I heard about this law firm quite easily through the German-Israeli Lawyer Association. The Law Firm is located right on the beach in Tel Aviv and has a great view from its location on the 17th floor. You can spend your lunch breaks at the beach or at the very close Carmel Market. Usually, they have more than one intern — so you can generally spend your lunch breaks with them.
The team is super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really nice and pleasant. Attorney Adi Zalk is the supervisor of interns.
My tasks included legal research, translations from German to English, and dealing with Israeli and German authorities. Beside that, I had the opportunity to accompany the lawyers to some court hearings or mediation appointments.
All in all, it was a great experience and I am very thankful for this opportunity Heskia Hacmun Law firm gave me. Interning there for a few months is highly recommendable.
