Education: Paris II Panthéon Assas University Paris ; ESG Business School Paris Languages: French, English, German
From March to April 2009 I worked as an intern at Heskia-Hacmun Law Firm in Tel Aviv. It was the best experience of internship I have ever had. I was warmly welcomed and I felt very comfortable in the office. Everyone of the staff was so nice with me and I felt like a part of the team.
Initially, I was a bit afraid of how using French law and my skills. But I received advice and help when I needed it. I was so fortunate to work on a lot of different tasks. I had to work on cases involving French law, and on documents in French and in German. On the other hand, I was in charge of international cases concerning intellectual and industrial property, and international contracts. My tasks included also banking and financial issues. Besides, I have updated the French website of the law firm. One day, I was taken to court hearings in Tel Aviv, which was very interesting for me in order to compare it with French Courts. I have consolidated my legal studies and improved my knowledge thanks to this internship.
I was also lucky to work in an international and friendly environment, with employees and interns from all over the world, -Israel, England, Germany, Russia. This allowed me to compare different legal systems and different cultures. Living in Tel Aviv is also fantastic and full of surprises. In my mind, this amazing city is vital and peaceful at the same time. It has a pleasant atmosphere, a great night life and it offers a lot of cultural events ( museums, cinemas…). Tel Aviv beaches are also wonderful.
Heskia-Hacmun gave me the opportunity to travel all around the country: Jerusalem, Massada and Dead Sea, Haifa, Eilat… I really appreciated to work at Heskia-Hacmun and enjoyed my time in Israel. I was so sad to leave the office and I miss Tel Aviv a lot. This experience has changed a lot of things for me, maybe later I would like to work in Israel. I recommend this office to anyone looking for an internship in Tel Aviv and I am thankful that Heskia-Hacmun gave me the opportunity to be an intern in Israel.
