Adam Köhler, London, UK / October 2021 to March 2022

I had the pleasure of interning for 5 months at Heskia-Hacmun, from October 2021 to March 2022 .

Heskia-Hacmun provides the right balance between being exposed to international work, whilst working in a collegiate atmosphere. From the moment I joined I felt fully integrated as a member of the team at HH. The supportive culture at the firm, where you are encouraged to ask about Israeli procedural law, allowed me to fit seamlessly into the daily life at the office.

My regular tasks included summarising, proofreading and drafting legal documents and occasionally running errands to the local post office or bank. It was the individual experiences with each associate that I would say was the highlight of my time there. Accompanying one of the Partners, Dor, on a trip to Jerusalem for an ongoing case and joining the other Partner, Amos, at court hearings in the District Court of Tel Aviv are just two examples. Additionally, I have built friendships with the HH team on a personal level and enjoyed every minute of my time there.

It has been especially fulfilling and I am grateful for having the opportunity to work alongside such inspiring people. I look forward to using the skills I have developed at HH in my future career.
