I completed my internship from April till end of June 2018 at the Heskia-Hacmun Law firm. The firm is located at the best place in Tel Aviv, directly at the promenade, in the 17th floor oft the Goan House with a beautiful view at the beach. From the first day I really felt welcome and was quickly integrated into the Heskia-Hacmun team, which consists of several attorneys including the two partners Dor Heskia and Amos Hacmun. The responsible attorney for the interns is Adi Zalk, who is a very open-minded and kind person and also a great contact person for all your questions during and outside the work, who really cares about the interns and their stay at the office and the country.
I got a good overview of various legal areas and had the opportunity to get involved in different cases, because lot of them related to Germany. It was very interesting to participate in big cases and to get to know the Israel legal system. If you are looking for a law firm with international references, then Heskia-Hacmun law firm is the right place for you.
Among other legal fields, the law firm deals with international property issues, inheritance matters, labor law issues, corporate transactions and much more.
By submitting various documents, I had a great opportunity to paid visits to the Tel Aviv disitrict court, the Interior Ministry and the Supreme Court in Jerusalem, which is so beautiful in its architecture and located close to the ,,knesset“, the Parliament of the State of Israel.
The attorneys were always on hand to help with any questions. The linguistic and legal skills were sufficient to be involved in the office work, especially because some of the attorneys have a good command of the German language, including the responsible attorney Adi Zalk.
Beside me there were other interns from different countries, so we made a multicultural team, what made it all really interesting. We spend not only the breaks together but also the time after work. The office team has always made every effort to offer the interns cultural and social activities to make our stay as interesting as possible.
I am really thankful to had the opportunity to complete my internship at the Heskia-Hacmun Law Firm and really be a part of this team and furthermore had the possibility to discover the country and its culture.
Anyway I enjoyed the social and cultural life of Tel Aviv with all its beautiful beaches, interesting and historical places and open-minded people.
All in all it was an enormous enrichment for me, not only for the personal time I spend there but also for the future carrier choice.
